A NEW DIVE TRAINING PROGRAM FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
We are inviting people with disabilities in the Toledo Metropolitan Area to participate in a Discover SCUBA Program event. We will provide the SCUBA gear, instruction and support to allow you to experience an actual SCUBA experience in the safety of a pool. There is no charge for this program.
Thanks to the wonder of the water column in the oceans and lakes, the underwater world becomes a forgiving weightless environment similar to outer space. The weightless environment provides perfect buoyancy to a child or adult who experiences mobility limitations on land.

What You Need: Enthusiasm and a bathing suit. The minimum age is 12 years old. Forms must be completed in advance of this event and it may be necessary to obtain a medical professional’s permission to participate.
